Get in Touch
Visitor Registration will be enabled in late September
20 race series over 10 Sundays - two races back-to-back each Sunday morning. 14th December will be used to catch-up two postponed races if we have storms.
Entry fee £35 for visitors includes storage in our boat park.
Usual volunteer duty requirement of one week in the series to cover OOD, AOD, Safety Helm or Safety Crew please.
Spare weekend for the Winter Series to catchup two races from a stormy week,
but also to have a third race for the club members to make a three race mini-series to award the Club Christmas Plate.
Then having worked up an appetite - mince pies etc. will follow racing
Ardleigh Sailing Club Frostbite 2026 Race Series
Starting 4th January 2026 through to 15th March 2026.
Two races back to back each Sunday morning first start at 10:30am.
Yes that would be 11 sundays so 22 races, it is planned to be a 20 race series so 15th March is to catch up a weather postponement and award prizes.
Speaking of weather, any Met Office weather warnings will automatically trigger a postponement as some of our visitors travel a reasonable distance.
Any forecast indicating stable <5mph winds is also likely to trigger a postponement however the club will be open and run an ad-hoc non-series race if enough wind allows.
We are hoping to achieve some prize sponsorship this year, i expect they will ask for dinghies to display a logo/brand for the series - please let us know if that affects any individual sponsorship you may have.
The Annual General Meeting
Please raise any items you would like to be discussed with the secretary.
My suggestion is a 3 race mini-series for the Easter Plate
Aiming for 3 x 35minute races run back to back
Any alternative ideas? - please tell the Commodore
Training day on Saturday
Sunday - three races back to back
