It is with regret that we have to let you know that Jonathan Reubin died last Saturday after a brief, but brave, fight with Cancer.
Jonathan was Commodore for two years from 2014 to 2016 and with his customary zeal made great efforts to improve the social side of the club; he will long be remembered for some of the memorable Club meals he put together, often aided by Andy Mumford. With his wry sense of wit, extrovert personality and passion for old boats, he will be sorely missed by all of us who had the privilege of being able to enjoy his friendship.
There will be a largely secular service, but concluding with the Kaddish, at Colchester Crematorium on Wednesday February 19th at 11:00 a.m. to celebrate Jonathan’s life.
